What we build

We built this bank statement converter for independent bookkeepers, small business owners and freelancers who receive statements as PDFs and need clean transaction rows. The product focuses on three things: correct columns, visible checks and pricing you can predict.

Many tools stop at producing a spreadsheet. We think the useful part starts after that: showing where each row came from, adding up the totals against the balances printed by the bank, and pointing at the exact line when something doesn't match. That is slower to build than a one-click export, but it saves the hour you would otherwise spend comparing a spreadsheet with a PDF.

How we test before we promise

A bank format is only listed as supported after a test set of real, legally obtained statements passes: long descriptions, transactions split across pages, negative amounts, pages without transactions and different date styles. Every date, amount, direction and source page in the test set is labeled by hand and compared with the result.

Even when a format passes, a small test set can't prove that production will never make a mistake. That is why the review step stays in place for every statement, and why we never show accuracy percentages or badges we cannot back up.

How we treat your files

Statements are processed automatically and deleted on a fixed schedule: one hour after upload for guests and twenty-four hours for account users. Support staff don't open files by default. If we need to see content to fix a problem, we ask for permission for that one job and for a limited time, and we prefer a redacted excerpt when that is enough.

What we don't do

  • We don't connect to bank accounts or ask for bank logins.
  • We don't give tax, accounting or lending advice.
  • We don't certify that a statement is authentic or complete.
  • We don't publish invented reviews, partner logos or accuracy percentages.

How we decide what to add

Scanned statements, batch uploads and accounting-software mappings will be added only after they pass a real test set and there is clear demand from people who use the product every month. Until then, the product says clearly what it can't handle instead of offering a button that doesn't work.

If a feature matters to you, tell us through the contact form. Requests from paying users and bookkeepers with recurring work carry the most weight, because they show whether the extra maintenance is worth it.
