How to download your TD Bank (US) statements
On the website
- Sign in to TD Bank Online Banking.
- Open the statements area (on business online banking this is usually the Statements & Notices tab).
- Choose the account and the statement period.
- Select View to open the PDF statement.
- Use the save icon in the viewer to download the PDF.
In the mobile app
- Sign in to the TD Bank app.
- Open the statements section, usually reached from the account or the main menu.
- Choose the account and statement period, then open the PDF to save or share it.
TD Bank provides free online access to statements for up to 7 years (statements issued on or after April 2010, and notices on or after March 2015). Paper copies of statements from the past seven years can be requested through the Customer Service tab in Online Banking or at a branch; additional fees may apply. Holiday Club, Club Saver, IRA, Passbook and CD accounts are not eligible for electronic statements.
Menu names change from time to time. If a step doesn't match, look for Statements or Documents in your account menu.

For current activity flowing into Quicken or QuickBooks, TD's own download is simplest. For older months, or a spreadsheet that ties to the statement balances for a lender or accountant, convert the PDF statements.
What TD Bank (US) statements look like
- Transactions are listed under DAILY ACCOUNT ACTIVITY and grouped by type, such as Deposits and Electronic Payments, each with POSTING DATE, DESCRIPTION and AMOUNT columns and a Subtotal line.
- Posting dates are printed as MM/DD without the year; the year appears only in the statement period at the top.
- There is no running balance next to each transaction. A DAILY BALANCE SUMMARY lists the balance for each date with activity, printed as two date/balance pairs per row.
- Electronic payment descriptions often end with a reference number, which you may want to move to its own column or remove before categorizing.
- The ACCOUNT SUMMARY at the top (beginning balance, deposits, electronic payments, ending balance, interest) is a set of totals, not transactions.
Tips for converting TD Bank (US) statements
- Check your converted rows against the Subtotal under each activity group and the totals in the Account Summary before importing.
- When a statement period crosses New Year, confirm the January rows got the new year, since posting dates are printed without one.
- If you need more than the recent period TD's download covers, download one PDF per month and convert them in order; each month's ending balance should equal the next month's beginning balance.
- Ignore the How to Balance your Account worksheet page; it holds no transactions.

Can I download TD Bank statements as Excel or CSV?
TD Bank statements are PDFs. Online Banking lets you download recent account information into Quicken or QuickBooks, but to get complete monthly statements into Excel or CSV you need to convert the PDF.
How far back can I see TD Bank statements online?
Up to 7 years. TD provides online statements issued on or after April 2010 and notices issued on or after March 2015, within that seven-year window.
How do I get older TD Bank paper statements?
